My Philosophy

When client's need representation in family law matters it is often a time of great stress for them. I am an attorney who is not only an effective advocate, but also someone who truly cares about my clients and the issues they are facing.

I believe that in most cases, it is best to resolve matters amicably and cooperatively. It is more cost effective and better for the parties in the long run, especially when they have children together. I offer flat fee rates for uncontested cases. For contested matters, I work the case to be as efficient with your money as possible. I don't believe your hard earned money should be wasted or spent frivolously.

I find the practice of family law to be rewarding in that people are transformed. I'll always remember a former divorce client who I saw about a year after the divorce. I didn't recognize her because she had lost so much weight and looked years younger. When I commented on how great she looked, she said immediately after the divorce, she shed 200 pounds. She meant she got rid of her 200 pound husband! After that, she had energy to work out, eat well and take better care of herself. What a transformation.
